We are seeking a skilled Baker/cook to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, food prep and executing items to order/ to -go while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency at the Cafe. This is an early morning shift until mid day.

This person must have their own accommodation and means of commuting to Steamboat Cafe in Radium Hot Springs.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and bake a range of bread, buns, pastries, bagels etc.
- Cook to-order menu items and prep grab-and-go items
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain a presentable, clean and qualified appearance in our open- kitchen.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed




- Maintain a clean and organized baking area
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes

Experience

- Proven experience as a Baker or relevant role in the food industry
- Willingness to work early morning shifts to have baked goods ready for 6:30 am opening.
- Knowledge of baking techniques and principles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour based on experience

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
