We are hiring for two regular full time and two temporary positions within Community Protection Services. In this role, you will manage a child protection caseload, respond to family concerns, and coordinate services with community partners. The focus is on increasing community capacity for support while upholding the best interests of children and families served.
Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate and manage child protection cases
• Respond professionally to social and mental health issues
• Collaborate with community agencies for comprehensive support
• Initiate legal proceedings under relevant legislation
• Place children in alternative care as needed
Requirements:
• MSW or BSW preferred, with three years of experience
• Strong communication and crisis intervention skills
• Valid Ontario Driver's License required
• Knowledge of child development and community resources
• Commitment to equity and inclusion principles
