JOB SUMMARY

The role of Electrical Field Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and planning site activities alongside with the Foreman, sub-contractors, client representatives, and inspection authorities during on-site inspections. The Field Coordinator will ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, codes/regulations and will provide feedback to the Superintendent on a regular basis. This position will be counted on to drive our safe Culture of People and Power that we’re known for.

ROLE OBJECTIVES:

- Coordinate and planthe execution of construction,executing thecoordinationof scheduled and forecastedactivities,ensuringa high levelof safety and quality that matches the project goals andobjectives.
- Identify, mitigate, and track construction issues and lessons learned for debrief and feedback.
- Communication ofdirection, plans and schedules to ourfieldcrews,ensuring commitments to schedule are met and updatesare providedto the Superintendent and Foremanin a timely manner.




- Proactivelyplan and coordinate upcoming tasks and requirements with client representatives
- Oversee and plan the execution of the quality management plan, including site inspections and document control

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Attend Project Kick Off Meetings (Internal) when applicable.
- Execution of resource plan includingrequestingequipment requests foradditionallabor and equipmentto the Superintendent.
- Identify and plan Sub-Contractorsneedsin alignment with resource plan, scope, and opportunities to increase project efficiency.
- Coordinate and plan upcoming activities with on-site client representatives.
- Collaboration with Superintendent and Foreman on baseline schedule and expectations and communication to field crews.
- Review and communicate site specific work plans withfield leadership.
- Coordinate project materialrelease with Superintendent and Foreman based on schedule and site requirements.

- Attend project pre-construction site meetings.
- Completepreconstructionwalkthroughsof job site toidentifysite readiness and any pre-existingdamages or potential design conflicts frominitialscope.




- QAQC Management– Complete site inspections and walkthroughs with Foreman and Lead Hands, ensuring scope is built to design and expected qualityprior to requesting third partyinspections.
- Document and track project deficiencies and outstanding tasks and communicateto Superintendent and Foreman toupdate any impacts toschedule.
- Plan and coordinatethird partyinspection requestsas required by the project.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Leadership Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office,Fieldwireand related software
- Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations
- Ability to remain flexible and efficient in a fast-paced workplace.
- Ability to make intelligent and quick decisions, working well under pressure when faced with unexpected occurrences.
- Ability to effectively multi-task while analysing and solving problems.
- Available to work 6 days per week and overtime asrequired.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

- At least 5 years of construction leadership experience in the utilityand/orelectricalindustry.

- Red Seal and or Alberta Journeyman Electrician
- Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Leadership training – LSE
- Standard First Aid – An Asset.
- Ground Disturbance Level II – An Asset.
- Pass a pre-employment drug and alcoholscreen.
- Pass a pre-employment fitness test.
