This role ensures the timely and accurate completion of month‑end close activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, audits, and system integrations, while acting as a key point of contact for inter‑company and cross‑functional accounting needs. With a high level of expertise and independence, the Team Lead operates in a fast‑paced setting and requires minimal supervision.In this role, you will:Ensure timely and effective support to all departments/field offices relative to accounting, analysis and controlsMonth end closing process - reviewing and posting general journal entriesCo‑ordinate and liaise with intercompany entities including intercompany issue resolutionReview and approve monthly variance analysis on financial statementsReview and approve monthly and quarterly account reconciliationsReview and approve various monthly and quarterly reports due to the Global consolidation teamAssist in the coordination of the half‑year, interim, SOX,



and year‑end auditsSupport income as well as indirect tax filings by providing statutory financial informationAssist in the completion of the US Census reportsResearch and make recommendations on accounting issues based on US GAAPDirect management of junior/intermediate accountants (ie. provide mentorship/guidance, vacation approvals, performance/pay reviews, etc.)Coordinate and review audit filesCoordinate and lead accounting related projects/initiativesWhat you bring:CPA designation preferred, with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a fast‑paced environmentWorkday experience is preferred with strong systems and integration experience, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data or workflow issuesExceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with solid analytical and problem‑solving skillsProven experience leading or mentoring junior and intermediate accountantsPayroll experience is an asset; PLP or PCP certification considered a bonusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAdvanced skills and experience in MS Office (Excel) MicrosoftMicrosoft Dynamics AX or Microsoft Dynamics 365 knowledge would be considered an assetPursuant to the laws regarding job postings where the position is located in, Colliers is disclosing the following information:Area/Location Specific: Vancouver, BCApproximate Salary Range for Role: $92,700 to $105,000Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
