Become a vital part of Rock Bay Landing as a part time Mental Health Worker, dedicated to improving the lives of those in need. Provide direct support and case planning for individuals facing housing vulnerability.
In this role, you'll support clients through emotional challenges and physical needs, working collaboratively with a team to advocate for positive change. Candidates should possess knowledge of complex social issues and be prepared to offer compassionate support to diverse populations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage in daily case planning and programming support
• Respond to emergencies, including overdose situations
• Provide physical and emotional assistance to clients daily
• Advocate for clients while facilitating external connections
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of community resources
Requirements:
• Diploma in a related Social or Human Services field
• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
• Emergency First Aid with CPR Level C certification
• Successful criminal record check mandatory
• Experience with community social service agencies
Contribute to meaningful change and support vulnerable individuals as a Mental Health Worker.
