Perform assembly of electromechanical products

Level of Responsibility

Structured work processes. Some analysis is required before independently selecting from known processes.

Responsibilities/Tasks

- Prepare components.
- Proceed with tinning of components.
- Manually assemble through hole (TH) and surface mount technology (SMT) components on printed circuit boards.
- Operate and adjust automated inspection and assembly equipment.
- Prepare, handle and use polymeric products for component bonding.
- Install cables.
- Mechanically integrate modules, flex and printed circuit boards.
- Inspect, check and validate compliance of certain tasks performed by colleagues.
- Support Research and Development.
- All other related tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

- College diploma or secondary school vocational diploma in one of the following fields: electromechanical, mechanical, aeronautical or equivalent.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Basic knowledge of the principle of tolerances and geometrical dimensions.
- Knowledge of standards IPC-A-610
- Ability to recover and enter data with a computer system.
- Use of production databases.
- Positive knowledge of French. Basic knowledge of English is an asset (Contact with customers outside Quebec).

Comments/Special Considerations

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level,



and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
