Lead the UBC Arts Co-op Program as a Co-op Education Manager in a hybrid role. Oversee student development and career advising while enhancing workplace learning experiences.
At UBC, the Co-op Education Manager plays a vital role in managing the Arts Co-op Program. This position requires supporting students through their co-op journey, while maintaining connections with diverse employers. You'll ensure student preparedness, foster career exploration, and enhance engagement in the workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise and coach students on career opportunities
• Conduct site visits and evaluate co-op placements
• Design and facilitate pre-employment training workshops
• Build and maintain relationships with employers and alumni
• Contribute to strategic planning and program evaluation
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline
• Minimum four years of related experience
• Robust communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
• Ability to travel as needed
