SLB is seeking an Import/Export Compliance Specialist for our Calgary office. This role involves ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and supporting logistics operations effectively.
As an Import/Export Specialist, you will collaborate with various departments, including Procurement and Finance, to facilitate the efficient movement of goods. Your solid organizational skills will enable you to manage customs documentation and compliance systems, while your analytical capabilities will help identify areas for continuous improvement. Understanding trade controls and regulations is essential in this challenging position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure import/export compliance through thorough documentation
• Classify products and provide guidance on trade requirements




• Monitor and manage day-to-day customs compliance activities
• Optimize duty costs through free trade agreements
• Collaborate with freight forwarders for transportation solutions
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of experience in international logistics
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant areas
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods and international transport regulations
• Experience with SAP is an asset
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
