Reporting to the Fisheries Manager, this position focuses on developing and managing restoration plans for aquatic habitats in Musqueam’s Territory. Your expertise in collaborating with external bodies and coordinating field crews will be vital. This position also involves training and supporting staff while fostering relationships with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage ongoing development of the Aquatic Habitat Restoration Plan
• Advise on invasive plant management for Musqueam Creek
• Oversee baseline studies and methodologies for aquatic resources
• Drive team alignment in fieldwork activities
• Facilitate ongoing training for staff on restoration plans
Requirements:
• Degree in natural resource management or similar
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in environmental plans
• In-depth knowledge of invasive plant management
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Proven budget management abilities
