Location: Campbell River and Vicinity

Pay Rate: $27.73 - $50.53 per hour, depending on experience and classification

We are seeking skilled and dependable carpenters with concrete formwork experience to join the UBC Carpenters Union local 527 . The ideal candidate will work on a major infrastructure facility in the community, the John Hart Dam .

This position offers an opportunity to contribute to diverse construction projects while developing your skills in a energetic environment. We value safety, craftsmanship, and professionalism in all our team members.

Requirements

- Proven experience in construction-related roles with knowledge of carpentry, concrete formwork (Peri Experience preferred)
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
- Ability to operate power tools, hand tools,



and heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and procedures
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments
- Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
