AgeCare is searching for a Health Care Aide to be part of its collaborative care team. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills to deliver thorough and safe basic care. You will monitor residents, assist with mobility, and contribute to their Nursing Care Plans using a holistic approach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide resident-centered care to seniors daily
• Report changes in resident status to Nursing staff
• Assist residents in community mobility and activities
• Share insights for developing individualized care plans
• Perform personal care and ensure safety practices
Requirements:
• Graduate of a Health Care Aide program with 500 hours of experience
• Prior experience in community health services
• Robust interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification recommended
• Willingness to obtain a current Vulnerable Sector Check
