The Eastern Ontario Regional Laboratory Association (EORLA) seeks a Laboratory Technician to handle sample collection, accessioning, and preparation for testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical lab principles alongside good communication skills. Responsibilities also include training new staff and adapting to various job functions as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect and prepare clinical samples for testing
• Identify and resolve issues with unsuitable specimens




• Assist in training recent team members
• Rotate through specified job functions as required
• Ensure compliance with safety legislation in the lab
Requirements:
• College Diploma or MLPAO/CSMLS certification
• 6-12 months of relevant experience
• Knowledge of lab safety standards and practices
• Proficiency in English and French communication
• Criminal Records Check required upon hiring
