About the Role

You will interact with customers, motivate your team, and make important business decisions, always striving to create an exceptional customer, staff, and operational experience.

Responsibilities

Recruiting, training, and developing your management team and staff on brand, product, and service.

Oversee all aspects of the retail business, including budgeting, sales target achievement, and creating a strong customer and staff experience.

Sales & Customer Experience

- Collaborate with your team to exceed daily sales goals and ensure a unique, inclusive customer experience.
- Educate customers and staff on our brand values and commitments to animal testing, freshness, ethical buying, vegetarian, handmade, and naked packaging.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge and make informed product recommendations.
- Develop and execute business plans that align with local strategy to improve KPIs and achieve sales goals.

Team Leadership

- Demonstrate leadership practices, coach, and develop your team’s careers.
- Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging through training and initiatives.




- Provide performance feedback that is empathetic and considers personal circumstances.
- Recruit and select teams with diverse mix and demonstrate equal employment opportunity practices.

Operational Excellence

- Prioritize shop compliance, staff training, and adherence to company standards.
- Manage stock and inventory, ordering, waste, and budget.
- Create merchandising plans to improve KPIs and maintain a clean, beautiful environment.
- Schedule staff to meet peak times while staying within labor budget.

Qualifications

Required

- 3-5 years managing in a retail environment.
- Strong HR skills in hiring, scheduling, training, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Strong customer service, supervisory, and sales skills.
- Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.

Preferred

- Experience with consultation‑based customer service models.
- Ability to develop and train staff through positive coaching and feedback.
- Proven record of developing retail staff careers.
- Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Suite, and adaptable to other systems.
- Experience in cross‑cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training.
- Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages.
