We are currently expanding our production team and looking for a highly organized, proactive, and eager‑to‑learn Production Assistant to join us on an upcoming, high‑profile streaming series for Marvel Animation .
This is an exceptional, gold‑standard starting point for individuals looking to build a long‑term, thriving career in animation production. As a Production Assistant, you will work side‑by‑side with our experienced Production Coordinators and Production Managers. You will actively support the day‑to‑day operational cadence of multiple departments while gaining firsthand, invaluable exposure to how a major CG animation production runs seamlessly from kickoff to final delivery.
This role is deliberately designed to provide you with comprehensive, broad exposure across the entire studio production ecosystem. You will learn firsthand how different artistic and technical departments operate, how they communicate across boundaries, and how production workflows connect across the entire pipeline. Along the way,
you will take on core administrative and organizational responsibilities that help keep our creative teams running smoothly while developing the robust, foundational skills required for an exciting career in studio management.

As a Production Assistant at Stellar, your day‑to‑day contributions will span meeting documentation, database maintenance, artist support, and general administrative coordination. Success in this role is defined by the following core pillars:
1. Meeting & Review Mastery
- Dailies & Reviews: Attend departmental reviews, artist dailies, and cross‑functional meetings with focus and precision.
- Actionable Note‑Taking: Take exceptionally accurate, clear, and actionable notes during fast‑paced reviews, capturing technical feedback, artistic adjustments, and supervisor directives.
- Prompt Distribution: Promptly format, publish, and distribute comprehensive meeting notes to the broader team, ensuring all artists and leads have absolute clarity on their next steps and delivery targets.
2. Production Support & Data Tracking
- Pipeline Tracking: Assist the Production Coordinators with maintaining hyper‑accurate data entries within Flow Production Tracking (formerly ShotGrid) , including real‑time shot statuses, artist task assignments, quotas, and structural production info.
- Digital Organization: Help organize, name, file, and archive digital assets, reference artwork, design packets, and client sign‑offs so they are instantly accessible and structured for the artists.
- Cross‑Departmental Assistance: Provide reliable support for a wide variety of ad‑hoc production tasks across multiple assets departments, gaining profound structural exposure to different stages of the modern CG animation pipeline.
3. Team Communication & Administration
- Approachable Point of Contact: Act as a friendly, welcoming, and approachable frontline point of contact for artists, helping answer basic daily scheduling questions or routing them swiftly to the appropriate production lead.
- Calendar & Playlist Management: Assist production management with rigorous calendar coordination, meeting room bookings, schedule management, and prepping digital review playlists.
- Proactive Support: Actively look for small, meaningful ways to make the Production Coordinators’ and Managers’ days run a little smoother,
anticipating team needs before they become urgent issues.
- Mentorship & Shadowing: Shadow experienced Production Coordinators, observing how complex departments are managed, how technical constraints are handled, and how executive decisions are communicated downward throughout the project.
