Job Description

Additional Information

These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

- Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment following all organizational, client and regulatory rules and procedures.
- Inspect workstations for compliance with health and safety and food service standards.
- Wash and disinfect worktables, cupboards and appliances
- Sweep and mop floors in main kitchen and clean fridges
- Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers
- Unload dishwasher and place clean dishes in storage area
- Operate a variety of kitchen utensils to weigh, measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, grind, stir, strain,



season and knead foodstuffs for cooking, serving and storing.
- Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly stores food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage.
- Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other food products and utensils.
- Brews coffee and tea, restock other beverage areas.
- Assist patients with opening containers and cutting food when requested.
- Work on a tray line to distribute food
- Deliver and collect patient trays to their room using a census sheet.
- Supplies/Inventory related
- Record food and fridge temperatures per food safety protocols
