A Senior Operations Leadership Opportunity We are seeking a highly accomplished senior operations leader to step into a critical site leadership role within a well-established, privately owned industrial organization operating in the advanced materials and circular economy space. This is a high-impact, in office leadership role overseeing a large-scale, 24/7 manufacturing and processing facility. The successful individual will be trusted with full operational accountability — safety, quality, people, performance, and profitability — while playing a key role in shaping the future of the operation. Why this role is compelling You’ll lead a mission-critical facility that transforms recovered materials into high-value inputs for major global customers You’ll operate in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment with direct access to ownership and executive leadership You’ll have real influence — not just maintaining operations, but elevating performance, culture, and execution Long-term growth potential within a multi-site organization that values internal leadership development The mandate This role exists to raise the bar. You’ll be responsible for driving operational excellence across: Safety & compliance — building a strong, disciplined, behavior-based safety culture Operational performance — improving uptime, yield, throughput,
and cost efficiency People & leadership — developing a capable leadership bench and holding teams accountable Continuous improvement — embedding best practices, structure, and urgency into day-to-day operations You’ll lead cross-functional teams spanning production, maintenance, logistics, safety, and on-site support functions, while partnering closely with centralized corporate teams. What we’re looking for This role will resonate with someone who: Has 10+ years of senior operations leadership experience in a complex, industrial or materials-based environment Is comfortable leading unionized workforces in a 24/7 setting Brings strong technical curiosity, operational discipline, and data-driven decision-making Thrives in environments where speed, ownership, and accountability matter Leads with presence — visible on the floor, decisive, and respected by teams at all levels Experience within advanced manufacturing, materials processing, recycling, or adjacent heavy industrial environments is highly relevant. The environment & expectations This is not a 9–5 role — it requires on-site leadership, responsiveness, and engagement The facility is industrial in nature — hands-on leadership and comfort in a plant environment are essential Success will be measured through clear performance metrics tied to safety, productivity, quality, and financial results Compensation & relocation A highly competitive total compensation package is offered, including base salary (180K-200K), performance-based incentives, and relocation support for the right individual.
