Become an essential part of the Southern Health-Santé Sud team as a Health Care Aide in Manitou. Your role will focus on providing direct assistance to residents with activities of daily living in a casual, in-person work workplace.
Ideal candidates will hold a Health Care Aide Certificate and ideally have 1-2 years of relevant experience. You’ll exhibit sound judgment in prioritizing tasks and engaging with patients compassionately. Work alongside nursing staff to ensure every resident receives the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Aid residents in daily living activities as outlined in care plans
• Collaborate effectively with the nursing team
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy standards




• Care for elderly and disabled clients respectfully
• Comply with all workplace health and safety policies
Requirements:
• Certification as a Health Care Aide is required
• 1-2 years’ experience in a health care workplace preferred
• Current BLS certification mandatory
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license necessary for travel
