Kakisiwew-ochapowace Nation is looking for five full-time Support Workers and two casuals effective June 1, 2026. In this role, you will provide vital support to clients, assisting them with life skills and cultural engagement. It’s essential to maintain safety while engaging in land-based healing and participate actively in the clients' journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide culturally informed support to clients
• Facilitate daily activities and maintain structure
• Promote a respectful and protected environment
• Communicate changes in client well-being to the team
• Work with Elders and staff to support recovery
Requirements:
• Certificate/diploma in Social Work, Addictions, or related field
• Experience with addictions recovery programs
• Familiarity with First Nations community protocols
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence and Criminal Record Check
