The Township of Esquimalt is hiring a motivated individual as an auxiliary Custodian Maintenance Worker. In this role, you will report to the Facilities Supervisor and conduct routine cleaning of washrooms, activity rooms, and locker areas. Your responsibilities include setting up rooms for events and monitoring pool equipment, ensuring proper chemical balances.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine cleaning of washrooms and activity spaces
• Set up and prepare rooms for community events
• Monitor and disinfect changerooms effectively




• Test and maintain appropriate pool chemical levels
• Carry out servicing and maintenance on pool equipment
Requirements:
• Partial high school graduation preferred
• Must hold a valid Class 5 B.C. Driver’s License
• Clean Driver’s Abstract required
• Completion of Pool Operator’s Level 1 and 2 Certificates
• Transparent Criminal Record Check necessary for vulnerable sectors
