As an Early Childhood Educator, you will design and implement culturally sensitive programming that promotes outdoor exploration and community collaboration. Your interactions with children will focus on their emotional and physical needs as you work in partnership with families and specialists to foster their development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Comply with all licensing and regulatory standards
• Lead culturally appropriate activities and learning experiences
• Provide individual and group learning plans
• Attend to children’s daily care routines
• Build relationships with families and community partners
Requirements:
• Early Childhood Education Certificate required
• Valid BC Early Childhood Educator licence necessary
• FoodSafe certification required
• One year of recent early education experience required
• Understanding of Indigenous cultures preferred
