The Federation of Cooperatives ofNouveau-Québec (FCNQ) is seeking a WrittenCommunications & Media Technician to help share the stories, achievementsand initiatives of FCNQ & Nunavik cooperatives through engaging content,social media and community-focused communications.

Responsibilities

Content Creation & Communications

- Create content for Kanguq magazine, social media, the website, newsletters and other communicationschannels.

- Research information, conductinterviews and write articles, profiles, news releases and feature stories.

- Coordinate with designers,printers and other external partners as required.

Social Media &Community; Engagement

- Contribute to content planning andsocial media strategies.

- Create, publish and monitorcontent on Facebook,



Instagram and other digital platforms.

- Respond to comments and inquiriesin accordance with organizational guidelines.

- Develop communicationshighlighting Inuit culture, important dates, community initiatives andcooperative achievements.

- Support the planning and promotionof training activities, special projects and corporate events.

- Represent the organization atevents when required.

Profil

- Postsecondary education inCommunications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field;equivalent experience may be considered.

- 1–3 years of experience incommunications, content creation or a related field.

- Excellent communication skills inEnglish. Inuktitut is a great asset. French is an asset.

- 35-hour workweek (Monday to Friday)
