Not available for remote or hybrid.What You 'll DoBuild and maintain backend services in .NET 8 / C# and Python (FastAPI, Dramatiq workers, Dask data pipelines)Design microservice boundaries, API contracts, and data flows as we decompose a monolithic Rails application into independent servicesWork directly on core platform systems: GPS telemetry ingestion, history processing, reporting engine, dispatching services, billing and subscription managementWrite and review production-grade, test-driven code; enforce quality throughcode reviews across .NET and Python codebasesDesign and optimize MySQL queries and schemas for high-volume transactional workloads (10M+ row tables, complex joins across billing/device/contract hierarchies)Build and consume RESTful APIs; design webhook deliverysystems and event-driven integrationsDeploy to production via BitBucket Pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes (GKE) with zero-downtime rolling updatesProduce architecture documentation: system diagrams, data flow diagrams, ADRs in ConfluenceManage async job processing with RabbitMQ and Dramatiq/Delayed Job workersOperate within Google Cloud Platform: GKE, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Secret Manager, BigQueryCollaborate with the Rails team, DevOps, and QA; work with the Engineering Team Lead and VP of Engineering on technical directionEstimate tasks, communicate blockers, and participate in sprint planning using Jira and GitFlow branchingWhat You BringProduction experience with .NET 8 / C# -- building,
