Responsibilities
- Perform Mig and Tig on welding steel and aluminum sign components
- Fabricate sign structures according to blueprint drawings
- Cut and fit material using saws, shears, brakes, and other shop equipment
- Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and secure work environment
- Measure, cut, grind, tack weld, and weld steel components
- Applicant must be physically fit as this position requires dexterity and a lot of standing, bending, and lifting
Compensation
Compensation can be based on related skills and experience. $23.70 up to $24.70 plus .25 premium per hour for a valid welding certificate.
Qualifications
- Valid certification in 47.1 and 47.2
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
