Transdev Canada is hiring a Transit Supervisor for our Victoria location, focusing on enhancing service quality and operational efficiency. This full time, unionized position integrates supervisory responsibilities with hands-on leadership.
As a Transit Supervisor, you will be key in coordinating transit operations while supporting and mentoring operators. Your role includes monitoring service delivery, addressing service disruptions, and engaging with dispatch and management. You'll help foster a positive work culture while ensuring compliance with safety policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and supervise daily transit operations for effective service
• Monitor operational performance and customer service quality
• Conduct investigations and safety inspections of transit activities




• Collaborate with maintenance and dispatch for smooth operations
• Provide coaching and mentorship to operators for enhanced service
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of experience in public transit operations
• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory capacity
• Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
• Valid BC Class 4 driver’s licence preferred
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
