Join Extendicare as a Full-Time Pediatric Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) and support children in a school environment in Kitchener. This role includes a signing bonus and offers flexible scheduling.
As a Pediatric RPN, you will assess and care for pediatric patients with varying complexities. You will play a critical role in developing long-term therapeutic relationships while ensuring the comfort of your patients. Successful candidates are expected to start training in July or August ahead of the September 2026 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patients' individualized needs with appropriate tools
• Execute and monitor comprehensive care plans
• Build rapport with patients through trust and collaboration




• Maintain and update qualified patient records
• Provide reliable on-call coverage, including after hours
Requirements:
• Current CNO registration as a Registered Practical Nurse
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
• Pediatric care experience is mandatory
• Clinical skills in tracheostomy and ventilation care preferred
• Flexibility to travel within designated areas
