Become a key player in urban sustainability as an Urban Parks Naturalist with Regina's City Planning division. Focus on naturalization and biodiversity while enhancing community parks and open spaces.
In this role, you will facilitate the implementation of cutting-edge environmental projects and strategies aligning with municipal master plans. Collaborating with internal and external partners, your expertise will drive programs that prioritize the urban ecosystem and community engagement throughout Regina.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide the implementation of urban forestry best practices
• Translate strategic goals into operational work plans
• Collaborate on naturalization initiatives with various stakeholders




• Report on wildlife interactions and ecosystem health
• Monitor and evaluate environmental projects
Requirements:
• Degree in Environmental Sciences, Landscape Architecture, or Geography
• 3-7 years of relevant public sector experience
• Knowledge of prairie ecosystems and sustainability practices
• Proven skills in leadership and project coordination
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
