Nachi America Inc. is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to support our growing robotics business in the Windsor, Ontario region. What You’ll Do
As the primary technical representative for Nachi Robotics in the field, you will:
- Install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial robots and robotic automation equipment at customer facilities.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and programming-related issues and implement effective solutions.
- Respond to customer service calls and provide timely technical support both onsite and remotely.
- Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections to maximize equipment reliability.
- Read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics.
- Assist customers with robot operation, troubleshooting, and best practices.
- Document service activities, maintenance records, and technical findings accurately and promptly.
- Update technical documentation and verify field modifications are properly recorded.
- Represent Nachi professionally through excellent customer service, communication, and technical expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, Robotics, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field; OR
- 1–2 years of relevant industrial maintenance, robotics, automation, controls, or service experience.
- Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics.
- Basic understanding of PLC ladder logic and industrial controls.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport for cross‑border travel to the United States.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with industrial robots, automation systems, PLCs, servo systems, or machine controls.
- Previous field service, maintenance, or manufacturing experience in an automotive or industrial environment.
- Hands‑on experience working with robotic automation equipment.
Training & Career Development
Successful candidates will receive extensive training through our Robotics Division.
Initial training will include travel to our Novi, Michigan headquarters and ongoing development opportunities with experienced robotics professionals.

Compensation
Compensation: $25.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
