Role Description

This is a contract, hybrid SEO Specialist role based in Winnipeg, MB, with some work-from-home flexibility. The SEO Specialist will manage day-to-day optimization tasks, including conducting keyword research, performing SEO audits, and implementing on-page SEO improvements across client websites. The role involves monitoring and analyzing web analytics data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for technical and content optimization. The SEO Specialist will also plan and execute ethical link-building strategies, collaborate with content and marketing teams,



and prepare clear performance reports and recommendations for clients.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Keyword Research and On-Page SEO to optimize site content and structure.
- Candidates should possess skills in SEO Audits and Web Analytics to evaluate site performance and track key metrics.
- Candidates should possess experience in Link Building and maintaining high-quality, compliant backlink profiles.
- Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar) is beneficial.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Experience in digital marketing or agency environments and knowledge of current SEO best practices and search engine guidelines.
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
