What You’ll Do

- Independently evaluate, adapt, and apply advanced engineering concepts to challenging structural problems, often devising new or customized solutions.
- Develop transparent, high-quality deliverables that communicate effectively with clients.
- Proactively coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants,



and internal experts, expanding your network and influence across the industry.
- Contribute to proposals and represent Thornton Tomasetti’s technical excellence in client‑facing interactions.
- Collaborate internally on initiatives involving sustainability, resilience, forensics, renewal, and protective design.
- Build leadership capability by understanding how structural decisions impact innovation, project outcomes, and long‑term client value.
- Mentor junior engineers, enhancing your ability to influence and elevate team performance.

What You’ll Bring

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) or eligibility to obtain it.
- 6+ years of structural engineering experience, ideally within a consulting environment.
- Strong background in analytical modelling, detailing, and advanced engineering concepts (steel, concrete, seismic, tall buildings, specialty structures, etc.).
- Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to grow into a technical leader.
