The Search Associate Director is responsible for planning and executing advanced search strategies for our largest clients and mentoring a team of search and biddable media specialists. Responsibilities

Plan, present and own the success of search engine marketing programs across the largest clients at Syneos Health. Lead, mentor and train members of the search team through a professional development program. Develop and implement SOPs governing all aspects of best‑practice campaign development for the search department. Own all areas of campaign development and optimization, from keyword and copy creation to bid management and KPI reporting. Provide support to recent business through industry analysis and search landscape estimation. Regularly author POVs to keep the team updated on the latest search trends and engine algorithm updates. Demonstrate outstanding performance in market, exceeding client expectations and KPIs through class‑leading search programs. Requirements

6+ years of experience leading, executing, and planning both SEM/PPC and SEO campaigns.



Ability to put together and present integrated search strategy that includes elements of both SEO and SEM. Experience participating in pitches for new business and understanding how to operationalize complex asks during the RFP process. Experience interacting directly with clients, building relationships and ensuring campaigns are executed and reported flawlessly. Experience managing and optimizing paid search campaigns across all major search engines. Experience in both SEO and SEM is a must. Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data. Certification in AdWords, Google Analytics and Bing is strongly encouraged. Free to travel as‑needed to support the business. Experience in pharma or healthcare is required. The annual base salary for this position ranges from $105,000 to $120,000. Salary adjustments are based on qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and/or individual performance.
