Become part of the University of Alberta Hospital team as an Occupational Therapist I. This casual role allows you to work across various inpatient programs for optimal patient care.
In this position, you will apply your skills to enable patients to engage in meaningful occupations. Your responsibilities will include triage, assessment, and collaborative goal setting with clients and their families. You will work alongside a dedicated team to promote quality improvement and ensure comprehensive rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans for patients
• Collaborate effectively with clients and families throughout care
• Facilitate education on self-management techniques
• Engage in quality improvement efforts with fellow healthcare providers




• Mentor and supervise Therapy Assistants and students as required
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
• Active registration with Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
• BLS-HCP certification from the Heart and Stroke Foundation
• Driver’s license and vehicle access necessary
• Availability for various shifts, including evenings and weekends
