As a casual Registered Practical Nurse, you are entrusted with providing comprehensive care management and facilitating rehabilitation activities for clients in their homes. Core responsibilities include performing assessments, documenting care, and assessing responses to nursing interventions. You will work collaboratively with families and healthcare teams to ensure effective, client-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute evidence-based nursing care plans
• Consult with RNs for clients with complex needs
• Document assessments and interactions per VON standards




• Assign tasks to other care team members as needed
• Engage clients in their health decisions through education
Requirements:
• Registered Practical Nurse license in applicable province
• Clinical experience, especially in community health
• Proficiency in communication and interpersonal relations
• Capacity for independent work and flexibility in hours
• Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and safety
