Become a Grade 2 Educator at Bertha Kennedy Catholic Community School, focusing on Christ-centered education. This temporary role is part-time and emphasizes supporting diverse learning needs.
Starting August 26, 2026, this role goes until June 29, 2027. You will need a Bachelor of Education and an Alberta Teaching Certificate, as well as experience with elementary education and special accommodations. Collaborating with an Educational Assistant, you’ll work to create an engaging and supportive environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as a model for Christ-centered educational principles
• Work on developing Individual Program Plans
• Implement sensory and visual supports in lessons




• Communicate effectively with families about student progress
• Integrate technology, such as SmartBoards and iPads, in instruction
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education and valid Alberta Teaching Certificate required
• Experience with diverse learner strategies
• Preferred: College Certificate in Catholic Education
• Experience in team-oriented team environments
• Strong enthusiasm for teaching and learning
