This part-time role reports to the Programs Manager and is perfect for those pursuing careers in recreation and leisure studies. You will have the opportunity to organize both individual and group activities, ensuring a lively and enriching workplace for residents. Ideal candidates will possess experience with cognitive impairments and excellent communication skills, bringing joy to their daily interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement engaging activity programs
• Set up and clean the activity areas as needed




• Monitor resident behavior during programs
• Maintain accurate program and resident records
• Collaborate with departments to meet resident needs
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in recreation or related field
• Strong communication and documentation abilities
• Experience planning programs for cognitive impairments
• Ability to work independently and manage time
• Negative vulnerable sector check required
