We are looking for a skilled Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic to support operations at our Fort McMurray mining site. You'll be key in performing complex repairs and maintenance, ensuring equipment is safe and operational while enjoying lucrative overtime hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform repairs and maintenance on CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi machines
• Evaluate machinery performance and inspect for faults
• Mobilize equipment for repairs and maintenance tasks
• Maintain detailed reports and order all required repair parts
• Teach and guide apprentices in the field
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience as a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic
• A valid Alberta Journeyperson Equipment Technician Certificate
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Strong leadership qualities
• Proficient in basic computer applications
