Mainland Excavation & Shoring seeks an experienced Excavator Operator for our construction team. Join us to operate excavators on-site while promoting a safe working setting.
We're looking for skilled Operators with a minimum of one year of excavation experience. Your role will involve operating 200-400 size excavators, adhering to safety protocols, and collaborating with the Foreman on various excavation tasks. Familiarity with grading plans and the ability to communicate effectively on-site will enhance your fit for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate excavators safely at construction sites
• Conduct daily maintenance and safety inspections
• Maintain pre-trip inspection logs diligently
• Collaborate with Foreman to perform excavation tasks
• Communicate progress and issues proactively
Requirements:
• Minimum one year as an excavator operator
• Experience with 200-400 size excavators
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License required
• Must be local to the Lower Mainland
• First aid, confined space training is a plus
