In this role, you will deliver comprehensive nursing services to patients and their families within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Your responsibilities include critical thinking, problem solving, and patient advocacy. This position emphasizes collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered care and promote health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide integral nursing care for infants in the NICU
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Educate and counsel families on newborn care
• Assess and respond to patient care needs and changes
• Implement safety protocols and maintain care standards
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
• Current BCLS-HCP certification
• 2-3 years of relevant clinical experience preferred
• Robust communication and assessment skills
