Become a key player in a growing manufacturing environment as a Manufacturing Engineering Technologist in Cambridge, Ontario. This position emphasizes hands-on involvement with state-of-the-art equipment.
Your role will be vital for scaled operations in a custom, low-volume production setup. Reporting to the owner, you will install and validate advanced machinery while ensuring safety and efficiency in the workspace. This individual-contributor role demands expertise in mechanical systems and a commitment to continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee installation and calibration of advanced casting machines
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures
• Monitor production yields and defect analysis
• Establish and maintain safety guidelines
• Train staff on new equipment effectively
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology
• Experience with mechanical troubleshooting
• Proven mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance
• CAD experience is advantageous
• No prior casting experience required
