As the Divisional Controller, you will report to the Corporate Controller, guiding a dedicated team through daily accounting tasks while ensuring compliance with IFRS standards. Your role is essential in fostering process improvements and maintaining accurate financial documentation in a rapidly growing workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily accounting team operations in Canada • Ensure timely month-end and year-end financial closures • Support compliance with regulatory and tax reporting • Establish and refine accounting policies and controls • Prepare divisional reports to highlight financial performance
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA/MBA preferred • 5-7 years of experience in accounting team management • Expertise in IFRS and financial reporting • Strong communication and relationship-building skills • Proficiency in ERP and advanced Excel skills
