JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join a leading organization in Edmonton, Alberta on a contract basis through the end of the year. These individuals will support a busy team through a period of operational growth, acquisitions, and system transitions. The successful candidates will work closely with the existing administrator and project teams to assist with data entry, invoicing, system updates, reporting, and general administrative support.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day-to-day responsibilities, is comfortable learning recent systems, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment while supporting multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
• Assist with system data entry, maintenance, and validation activities
• Support Accounts Payable processes, including coding, reviewing, and editing invoices
• Provide administrative support related to company acquisitions and integration projects
• Assist with transferring and organizing service agreements, utilities, vendor information, and related documentation
• Compile, maintain, and update spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Excel
• Support company-wide system transitions, including data migration, testing,
and quality assurance activities
• Assist with expense management and documentation related to new financial systems and processes
• Support customer invoicing and other Accounts Receivable activities as needed
• Coordinate and organize project-related documentation and records
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve administrative issues and ensure data accuracy
Provide general administrative support and take on additional tasks as required
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 1+ years of administrative experience in an office environment
• Experience supporting Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable functions
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and other Microsoft Office applications
• Comfortable learning new systems and technology platforms
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Positive attitude with a willingness to ask questions and take initiative
