Make a difference as a Clinical Counsellor with DIVERSEcity, focusing on diverse cultural backgrounds. This part time role involves providing comprehensive mental health support and assessments to clients in need.
As a Clinical Counsellor with DIVERSEcity's Community Action Initiative, you'll work closely with clients facing challenges such as substance abuse and family conflict. Leveraging your expertise in therapeutic interventions, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and local health authorities to enhance client outcomes. Your role includes tailoring support strategies that align with clients' unique needs while promoting their mental well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive client assessments and therapeutic interventions
• Develop and implement individual support plans tailored to client needs
• Collaborate with community health professionals for integrated care
• Provide psycho-educational supports to individuals and families
• Maintain detailed records and statistical documentation
Requirements:
• Master's degree in counselling or related field
• Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) designation
• Minimum two years of relevant clinical experience
• Fluency in Dari or Farsi
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
