Become a Youth Support Counsellor at CHIMO Youth Retreat Centre, dedicated to enhancing the lives of youth through skill development and community resources. This role involves case management and team-oriented support in a transitional living environment.
In this position, you will work with the Chimo 5 Transition Home program, helping young individuals gain the independence they need to thrive. Utilize your expertise while advocating for youth and ensuring coordinated care with families and community partners to accelerate their journey into adulthood.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate for youth independence and skillset development
• Manage individualized cases effectively
• Create and evaluate Safety and Service Plans




• Work alongside families and community resources
• Document case notes and reports accurately
Requirements:
• Degree in Child and Youth Care or related discipline
• Minimum of two years of direct youth support experience
• Excellent organizational and report writing skills
• Clean three-year Driver’s Abstract
• Valid Alberta Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle
