Context We are currently seeking an experienced Cable Design Lead to support the planning, design, and delivery of Light Rail Transit (LRT) projects across Canada. Responsibilities Undertake cable design for an LRT project. Qualifications Diploma or degree in Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering or a related discipline. 8+ years’ experience designing cable containment (trays, conduits, duct banks) for rail/transit or industrial projects. Professional Engineer (P.Eng) or Certified Engineering Technologist with significant experience selecting, installing, and testing cables for rail transit systems. Knowledge of containment / route design for major infrastructure projects. Understanding of routing constraints, constructability, maintainability, and separation requirements for power, signalling, and communications cables. Experience coordinating with civil, structural, architectural, and systems teams. Required Technical Knowledge Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC) CSA C22.1 – Canadian Electrical Code,
