Make a difference in the lives of children and youth with the Intensive Services Program in Timmins. This full time role focuses on providing support and care for young individuals aged 8-18.
As a Child and Youth Worker, you will engage directly with youth within a community-based live-in program. You’ll be responsible for nurturing life and social skills, while also conducting interventions and monitoring activities. Your work will involve crucial record-keeping and ensuring building safety and security checks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct care and support in a live-in setting
• Facilitate life skills and social skills development
• Conduct intervention and monitoring of activities
• Complete necessary records and logs accurately
• Ensure building safety and security checks are performed
Requirements:
• Degree/diploma in Social Services or related field preferred
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights
• Experience with children and youth is an asset
• Bilingual in English and French required
• Valid G2 driver's license needed, G Class preferred
Support the development of children and youth through compassionate care at the Intensive Services Program in Timmins.
