In this position with the South Vancouver Chapter, you'll coordinate cleanup events and collaborate with Surfrider’s BCU Logistics Coordinator. Over a two-year commitment, dedicate around 1-3 hours per week, with additional time during major events. Your public speaking role will help educate communities about plastic pollution and encourage involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain beach cleanup kits
• Organize and distribute community education materials
• Assist in planning and executing remote cleanups
• Support local cleanup initiatives
• Conduct waste sorting and public outreach
Requirements:
