Apprentice Electrician
ATCO Structures is looking to hire an Apprentice Electrician to join our Kamloops Manufacturing Plant. Under the guidance of a Lead Hand or Journeyperson, the Apprentice Electrician is responsible for the wiring of modular units from rough to finishing.
Job Responsibilities
- Assisting and wiring modular units from rough-in to finishing
- Assisting in installation of wiring units, panels, and fixtures
- Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts
- Troubleshoot and test all electrical wiring units and fixtures in modular units
- Perform quality inspections and inspect tools and the shop
- Use hand and power tools
- Follow all safety procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Who You Are
- Registered Apprentice Electrician
- Previous experience with modular units is considered an asset
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to work safely with a wide variety of hand and power tools as well as materials
- Ability to work in a team environment
