Overview
Provide courteous and effective pick‑up and delivery of packages on an assigned route; check all shipments for conformance to Federal Express Canada features of service; provide related customer service functions.
Requirements
- High school diploma/educational equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and positive driving record.
- Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
- One (1) year customer‑oriented business experience preferred.
- Must achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre‑placement driver assessment training.
- Some knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask, handle stress and work in a highly pressured setting.
- Willingness to be flexible and work different schedules and holidays based on business needs.
Shift and Salary
- Shift: Tuesday to Saturday.
- Position is full‑time; candidate must be available Monday‑Friday.
- Salary: 23 CAD per hour.

The incumbent shall perform any other tasks assigned, meet minimum thresholds for required tests and mandatory training, work in a Windows environment, successfully complete periodic training and maintain annual accreditations where applicable, and work on different shifts as required by operational needs. Quebec incumbents must be bilingual (French and English). In addition to usual selection criteria, candidates for positions requiring driving must hold a valid license (class 5, G, or 1(AZ)) and present a file with no more than two infractions and/or accidents within the last 24 months. Candidates will also be evaluated on: 1) their annual driving record; 2) their interview performance; and 3) their results on administered driving evaluations.
