VVS Films is looking for a Theatrical Coordinator based in our Toronto office. The role will support our sales, exhibitor marketing and publicity teams.We seek a candidate who is up to speed on current movie-going trends and the overall entertainment landscape. Some industry experience is preferred, but an eagerness to learn all aspects of the distribution landscape is most key.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Theatrical Sales

- Schedule trade, press, premiere, and acquisitions screenings and arrange corresponding logistics and content delivery.
- Assist the sales team with admin related to weekly theatrical bookings.
- Support theatrical bookings with a goal of handling your own client base.
- Create exhibitor email updates including release schedules, newsletters, and material launches.
- Provide general admin support related to accounting and departmental bookkeeping.
- Assist in data analysis, including comp title reporting and market analysis.

Exhibitor Marketing

- Support and track theatrical trailer placements.
- Assist in the coordination of paid Canadian exhibitor marketing campaigns.
- Work with graphics team to create materials required for exhibitor marketing campaigns.




- Coordinate material delivery to all exhibitors for both paid and promotional campaigns.
- Ensure exhibitor websites have the correct Canadian materials posted in a timely manner.
- Assist in booking and managing press, premiere, and wom screenings.
- Support press clippings and reporting to partners.
- Assist in developing and updating press and influencer lists.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required

- A passion for film and a strong interest in the exhibition industry.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, MailChimp, and comfort with spreadsheets and data are essential.
- Post-secondary education.

Nice to Haves

- Prior experience in the film or entertainment industry.
- Fluency in French is considered an asset but not a requirement.
