Position Details

- Location: LNG in Kitimat, BC
- Start date: Immediately
- Shift/Hours: 5/2 rotation, 40 hrs./week and possible overtime
- Wage: $36.54/hr., depending on certifications in accordance with the QCC Agreement
- Relocation: Up to 3 months of temporary housing to assist with relocation transition if required.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and position radiographic exposure devices and sources, such as gamma or X-ray equipment, to conduct inspections.
- Calibrate equipment, secure the area, and ensure all safety protocols are followed to protect themselves and others from radiation exposure.
- Perform radiographic examinations on materials, welds, or components to detect internal flaws, such as cracks, voids, or other irregularities.
- Implement and monitor strict safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and safety standards.

Requirements

- Certifications & Technical Qualifications:




- CEDO Certification
- IRATA (Rope Access) Certified or willing to obtain
- Diversified experience in NDT or related field

- Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level
- Strong work ethics
- Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients
- Exceptional safety and quality awareness
- Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively
- Candidates must be local or willing to relocate
