Capilano University is seeking a casual Early Childhood Educator for its Children’s Centre. This on-call position plays a vital role in nurturing and educating children aged 0-5 through inclusive practices.
As a part-time educator, you'll work within the framework of Capilano’s commitment to diversity and inclusion. You will be responsible for creating enriching learning experiences while implementing the BC Early Learning Framework. Engage with families to honor their cultural strengthening contributions while enhancing the quality of the childcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop educational programs suited for young children
• Create a safe, organized, and engaging childcare environment
• Work with families to respect their cultural practices




• Implement a play-based learning philosophy
• Document children’s development and involve families in their learning
Requirements:
• Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• One year relevant experience in a childcare environment
• Current BC Early Childhood Educator Certificate
• Valid first-aid certification
• Clear record check as per regulations
